Memorizing transactions helps the user to keep track of transactions on a regular basis, based on the frequency that the user has set. Memorizing a transaction will make it easier for the user to enter data and set it as a remainder.
The following transactions can be memorized.
- Write Checks
- Purchase Order
- Sales Order
- Invoices
- Estimates
- Work Orders
- Statement Charges
- Bills
- Cash Sales
There are various conditions that must be met in order to memorize a transaction.
It is impossible to memorize transactions with serialized or lot numbers.
Transactions including serialized or lot items can be memorized until the serial or lot numbers for the items are provided.
To memorize a transaction, go to the transaction you want to remember
Actions > Memorize

The kind of transaction will be automatically generated if you edit or use the same name for the memorized transaction.
Select one of the two options: Remind Me or Automatic.
If the option Remind Me is selected, the user will be alerted before the transaction is posted.
It will be posted automatically if it is set to Automatic.
Choose the frequency; if the user selects “custom,” the frequency must be manually entered.
If this memorized transaction should be posted in a locked posting period, check Allow posting in closed period.
Only if the user does not want the transaction to be posted on the creation date may the override posting date be checked.
Choose the day on which this memorized transaction must be generated in the Next Date area, and the posting field will appear (if override posting date is checked) to enter the date on which this transaction must be posted.
Only if the memorized transaction occurs twice a month will the subsequent field be enabled. As a result, the transaction happens twice a month, once on the Next Date and again on the Subsequent Date. Select the date on which the subsequent transactions will be posted.
Click Remind Forever to have this transaction occur again and again, as well as a reminder when it is due.
Otherwise, select number of transactions remaining and enter the number of times this transaction must occur.
After entering all the data save the memorized transactions.
