Use Component Yield preference automatically calculates quantity allowances for expected raw material loss during processing. It will help us to record loss of raw materials. Eg: quality of material/defects or machine processing/scrap.
Work orders can reflect item order quantities based on accurate expected component yield assumptions, not the quantities listed on the bill of materials.
Component yield percentage can be entered in the BOM revision record of items.
