NetSuite’s marketing module allows user to send e-mails about products, services, and special offers to your customers on a particular predefined date, which is an important part of nurturing a relationship with your customers.
To create an email marketing campaign:
Go to Lists > Marketing > Marketing Campaigns > New.
The most essential part of the email campaign is target group and template.

Creating a Target group
Go to Lists > Relationships > Groups > New.
We can create two types of groups:
Dynamic groups – Dynamic group membership changes to include anyone who meets the group’s criteria which make use of saved searches.
Static groups – The membership of static groups does not change.

Each customer/ contact within the group needs to should be in the global subscription status Soft Opt In.
For which we need to create the customer/ contact or edit the same with Soft opt In status which is shown below:

Note: Mail won’t be sent to the contacts that are inactive.
Creating an Email Template
Go to Documents > Templates > Email Templates > New.
Basic and mandatory fields like Name, Subject, from email address, reply to email address and the content of the email needs to be uploaded through file or text editor option.
The from email address is the mail which will be defined as the from address in the customer mail, whereas reply to email address is the mail address to which all the reply mail be send to. If you like to add have the preview of the email then check send email preview and add the email address, to which on saving the template a preview would be send.


Create and Validating Email Address
Go to Setup > Marketing > Setup Tasks > Email Addresses > New.
On the Campaign Email Address page, enter the email address you want to use.
If you check the Private box, only the person that entered this campaign email address record can view and assign email address to the template. Click Save.
When you save the email record, NetSuite sends an authorization code to the email address. Before you can use this email address, you must enter the authorization code in the campaign email address record.
Click Edit next to the email address you want to validate.
In the Authentication Code field, enter the code sent to the Email and save.
You can select a validated email address on campaign email templates to serve as the from address, the Reply to address, or both.
Launching the Campaign
To create an email marketing campaign:
Go to Lists > Marketing > Marketing Campaigns > New.
With your Group defined and Template created, we can go and set up a new Campaign.
Define title, start date which is the initial date of the particular campaign, and mention manager to whom mail will be send notifying the campaign has been carried out.
We need to add the target group, template, also define the specific date and time for the email campaign to get execute by providing the status as execute.

Likewise, we could assign multiple days to get the campaign executed on the predefined date and time.
