The Revenue Arrangement

The Revenue Arrangement & Revenue Plan Update Frequency setting under Setup > Accounting > Accounting Preferences – General generates a Revenue Arrangement and Plan. Revenue Arrangements and Plans must be manually generated if the default is manual.

If the Revenue Arrangement is formed soon after the source document, the Revenue Arrangement is created first.

In the Accounting options, the Update Frequency preference is set to Automatic. The system will work. every three hours, write the script and build revenue arrangement records

Steps to Create Manual Revenue Arrangement

1) Transactions > Revenue Arrangements > Update Revenue Arrangements.

2) Click [Update Revenue Arrangements] to generate revenue elements and revenue arrangement for sales transactions created.

3) Click [Refresh] to update the results.

4) Navigate to the Status sublist.

5) On the Submission Status column, click Complete to review arrangements created by revenue source records.

6) Click the Sales Order # in the Source column will take you to sales order screen.

7) Click the Related Records subtab.

8) Click the Date link in date column right beside Revenue Arrangement type to open the arrangement record.

9) Click [Back]
