The forms can be restricted on the basis of roles created. Purchase order, sale order, invoice, cash sale, transfer order etc. can be restricted
Go to Setup> User/ Role> Manage Role> edit the role which we want to restrict certain forms
Select Forms subtab
Select the type of form (ex: transaction)
Uncheck the box corresponding to the form name you want to restrict
