- Create an Item Saved Search:
- Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New
- Select Item
- Click Criteria tab
- Click Standard subtab
- Filter:
- Select: Internal ID
- Value: Select None Of
- Enter the Internal IDs of the items user does not want to appear on the sales order
- Tick the Public checkbox
- Search Title: Enter Title
- Click Save
- Customize the Sales Order Form:
- Go to Customization > Forms > Transaction Forms
- Click the Edit/Customize hyperlink beside the Sales Order Form that user currently use
- Click Sublist Fields tab
- Click the Item Filter drop down list. Choose the item saved search name created on step 1
- Click Save
Note: Make sure the Form is Preferred checkbox is ticked
