Suitepromotions in the NetSuite help to make advantage of most of the recent promotion enhancements.
To enable this, enable the features
Promotion codes, Suitepromotions, Auto-Apply-Promotions under the transaction subtab of enable features.
New promotions can be created in,
List>Marketing>Promotions>New
There we can choose the discount rate or static discount amount wants to apply through this promotion. The Eligible transaction can be filtered based on the customers, location, or how many times want to apply this promotion for a single customer(one time or unlimited time). Also, specify the time period for this promotion.
HOW TO APPLY FOR A PROMOTION
If the suitepromotion feature is enabled a promotion subtab will appear in the sales orders, cash sale transaction, invoices, and return authorization there we can find the promotions if the corresponding transaction is eligible for that promotion and can choose it in the list, to make it applicable for that transaction.
