Feedback

e can possible to set up the domain before switching to Subdomain, which would allow us to thoroughly test all website functionality on the new domain. By adding redirection to the new domain at the time of the switch, we can reduce website downtime.

  • On the new website, we might be able to test every feature and the whole thing before switching. So we can reduce the issues during the domain change.
  • We can possible make redirection to the new domain once when the customer has bookmarked the old domain.
  • Once all testing is complete, we can schedule the domain change for the weekend.
  • We checked the DKIM setting; it will affect domain changes, so we need to reconfigure the DKIM setting.
  • Once we checked the Suite Commerce code and SMT, there were no hard-coded URLs in the code. We can set up a subdomain before switching. So we can test the entire website before changing the subdomain.
  • There is the possibility of changing the externally used URL, but this is dependent on the URL used. It will have an effect if a domain-specific URL is used.
  • If you are changing your main domain to a subdomain in NetSuite, it should not have any direct effect on your payroll module. The payroll module in NetSuite is typically associated with your NetSuite account and is not tied to a specific domain or subdomain.
  • We have no other concerns regarding the domain change.
