The user needs to create a report that shows all General Ledger accounts created within a particular period of time.
Solution
Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New
Click Account
Search Title: Enter Title
Click Criteria tab
Click Standard subtab
Filter:
- Add a Date filter
- Select System Notes Fields…
- System Notes Filter dropdown: Select Date
- Date: Select Within
- From: Select a start Date
- To: Select an end Date
- Click Set
- Add a Type filter
- Select System Notes Fields…
- System Notes Filter dropdown: Select Type
- Type: Select Create
- Click Set
- Click Results tab
- Click Columns subtab
- Field:
Note: Default fields will show and the user has the option to add or remove them depending on the purpose of the Search.
- Select System Notes Fields…
- System Notes Field dropdown: Select Date
- Click Add
- Click Save & Run
