Create a Saved Search to Show All GL Accounts Created Within a Particular Period of Time

The user needs to create a report that shows all General Ledger accounts created within a particular period of time.

Solution
Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New

Click Account

Search Title: Enter Title

Click Criteria tab

Click Standard subtab

Filter:

  1. Add a Date filter
  2. Select System Notes Fields…
  3. System Notes Filter dropdown: Select Date
  4. Date: Select Within
  5. From: Select a start Date
  6. To: Select an end Date
  7. Click Set
  8. Add a Type filter
  9. Select System Notes Fields…
  10. System Notes Filter dropdown: Select Type
  11. Type: Select Create
  12. Click Set
    1. Click Results tab
    2. Click Columns subtab
    3. Field:

Note: Default fields will show and the user has the option to add or remove them depending on the purpose of the Search.

  1. Select System Notes Fields…
  2. System Notes Field dropdown: Select Date
  3. Click Add
    1. Click Save & Run
