Description : To disable Cart Abandonment Email that comes from a Saved Search, perform the steps below:
- Find the Saved Search for the Cart Abandonment email under Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches
a. To make sure which saved search to edit, get a copy of the Cart Abandonment email’s Internet headers by:
- Open the received Cart Abandonment email
- On the upper left hand corner of the email, click on File > Info
- A list of menu will be available, scroll down at the very bottom and click on Properties
- A pop up window will be available, under the Delivery options section, copy the contents of the Internet headers
b.Once Internet headers section is available, search for the Saved Search ID. It should appear like “search=XXX”, where XXX is the Saved Search’ Internal ID number
c.Navigate to Reports > Saved Searches > All Saved Searches
d.Click Edit next to any of the listed Saved Searches
e.On the saved search URL, change the saved search ID to the the Saved Search Internal ID from Step 1b (search.nl?id=XXX)
2.Once directed to the correct Saved Search record, click on the Email tab and ensure that the checkbox for Send Email Alerts When Records Are Created/Updated is NOT checked
3. Click on Save
