User wants to create a Scheduled Email Alert for Approved Vendor Bills Saved Search to have links that will route to the associated Vendor Bill.
Saved Search has the following details:
1. On the Criteria tab > Standard subtab:
- Type = is Bill
- Main Line = is true
- System Notes : Field = is Document Status
- System Notes : Type = is Change
- System Notes : Old Value = is Pending Approval
- System Notes : New Value = is Open
- System Notes Date : is within last week
2. On the Results tab, the following fields are added:
- Name | Custom Label : Vendor Name
- System Notes : Date | Function : Day | Custom Label : Approval Date
- Amount (Transaction Total)
3. On the Email tab, the following details are included:
- Send Emails According To Schedule is checked.
- Summarized Scheduled Emails is checked.
- Send If No Results is checked.
- Under Customize Message subtab > Include View Record Link is checked.
- And on the Schedule subtab, preferred schedule was set.
When the Saved Search sends the Email Alert, the email will display as:

To allow the Scheduled Email Alert for Approved Vendor Bills Saved Search to have links that will route to the associated Vendor Bill, the following steps are done.
- Under the Results tab, the Vendor: Name field is used instead of the Name field.
- Clicked on Save and Run.
When the Saved Search sends the Email Alert, the email will now display as:
