Workflow State Names Does Not Reflect Changes in View Mode

Changes are not reflecting when Creating or Editing a Workflow State Name.

Solution

An account’s current language preference is one of the reasons why the changes in Workflow State Names are not reflecting when created/edited. Ensure to double check the account’s user’s language preference to avoid this issue:

By clearing out the Translation fields in the Workflow State’s setup

  1. Navigate to Customization > Workflow > Workflows
  2. Click Edit
  3. Double-click the Workflow State box
  4. Workflow State setup: Click Translation subtab
  5. Clear out the values in the Language field
  6. Click Save

By changing the user’s language preference

  1. Center tab: Hover on the Home icon
  2. Click Set Preferences
  3. Click General subtab
  4. Localization:
    1. Language: Select the company’s default account language
      Example: English (International)
    2. Click Save
      Note: Once Saved, changes should now reflect upon editing desired workflow
