Price Level is Not Showing in the Dropdown List in Sales Order

Scenario

In a Sales Order, a newly created Price Level is not showing in the Price Level column dropdown for a specific Item.

Solution

A. Check if the item has a Base Price set

  1. Navigate to Lists > Accounting > Items
  2. Click Edit next to the Item record used in Sales Order
  3. Click Sales/Pricing tab
  4. Base Price: Enter Value
  1. Click Save

B. Check if the Price Level now shows in the Sales Order

  1. Navigate to Transactions > Sales > Enter Sales Orders
  2. Click Items tab
  3. Item: Select Item
  4. Price Level: Click dropdown arrow to verify that the newly created Price Level is now showing.
