The SuiteSuccess Financial Standard – NOAM edition is typically intended for small to medium, growing businesses across a wide range of industries that do not require complex functions such as manufacturing, warehouse management, project management, job costing, and/or corporate performance management capabilities(or will implement this functionality in a later phase). It will provide an out-of-the-box solution centered around core financials, with few or no configuration and customization processes. These customers want to be live as quickly as possible on NetSuite for core financial and ERP functionality, then expand their use of the system in future phases as they grow.

Roles

ROLE NAMEROLE DESCRIPTION
AdministratorThe Administrator is responsible for the ongoing management and administration of the business’s NetSuite instance. This typically includes management of roles and permissions and oversight into access and audits of any changes that are made within the system.
ExecutiveThe Executive manages the entire business, but typically doesn’t perform many activities within the system, generally requiring a higher-level view. The Executive is typically responsible for overall business performance and has visibility of all company financial and operational activity.
ControllerThe Controller is the company’s chief accounting officer and heads the accounting department. The Financial Controller manages the company’s financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance and any special analyses. They are responsible for the company’s finances including financial planning, management of financial risks, record-keeping, and financial reporting.
A/R AnalystDealing with the day to day running of the A/R functions such as invoicing customers, accepting customer payments and managing credit memos. Managing customer taxes, categories, customer payment methods, bank details and all other customer master records information.
The A/R Analyst role will also support the functions of a Financial Controller in assisting with the running of tax reports, managing and updating the COA’s, setting up and monitoring allocation schedules and amortisation schedules, creating and maintaining journal entries, tasks related to the banking operations and period close tasks.
A/P AnalystDealing with the day to day running of the A/P functions such as: posting vendor bills, making vendor payments and applying vendor credits.
The A/P Analyst role will also support the functions of a Financial Controller in assisting with setting up and monitoring amortisation schedules and creating/maintaining journal entries.
Inventory ManagerThe inventory Manager is responsible for the maintenance of item information including item details and the receipt of goods. Along with other members of the Supply Chain Operations Team, the Inventory Manager ensures inventory is accurate and available in the necessary locations.
SalesThe Sales role is responsible for nurturing leads/prospects, maintaining customer information, creating opportunities, quotes and managing sales orders throughout the customer lifecycle. They are generally responsible for creating and managing the customer master to ensure

Subsidiaries are the primary classification used to organize NetSuite 
records. Segments (departments, classes, locations) can be used in 
addition to subsidiaries. If these segments are used, they must be 
associated with a subsidiary. This association enables the selection Of a 
department, class or location on the record or transaction related to
