Change in Fidelity for U.S. Bank Feeds in NetSuite

Connections to Fidelity credential-based sites in NetSuite will no longer be supported beginning December 13, 2023.

What is Changing?

To improve security, Fidelity is transitioning to Open Banking technology. Connections to their credential-based sites in NetSuite will no longer be supported beginning December 13, 2023. This change affects existing Fidelity Investments connections created through the Connect to U.S. and Canada Accounts (Link Bank Accounts) format profile in NetSuite.

Note: Credit Cards connected through the Fidelity Rewards Visa Signature Card financial institution are excluded from this upcoming change.

The change will occur on the following schedule:

Before December 13, 2023

  • New connections to Fidelity Investments credential-based site are still supported.
  • No change to your existing Fidelity Investments connection. Automatic daily imports will still occur, and manual initiation of bank data import is still supported.

Beginning December 13, 2023

  • When you set up a new connection to Fidelity Investments, you will automatically be connected to their open banking site.
  • Imports from existing connections to the Fidelity Investments will fail for the following services:
  • Automatic daily import
  • Manual initiation of bank data import through:
  • Clicking the Edit & Save button (without making any changes) on the Connect Accounts to U.S. and Canada (Link Bank Accounts) format profile.
  • Click the Update Imported Bank Data button on the Match Bank Data page.

Required Action

Starting December 13, 2023, you must rebuild your Fidelity Investments connection in NetSuite to prevent bank data import errors.
