Create a Custom Field that Sources the Name of the Case Creator

Create a Custom Field that sources the Name of who created the Case record using a Summary Saved Search.

A. Create a Case Saved Search

	1. Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New
	2. Select Case
	3. Search Title: Enter Created By Case
	4. Click Results
	5. Click Columns
	6. Click Remove All
	7. Field:
		• Select System Notes Fields...
			1. Select Set By
			2. Summary Type: Select Minimum
			3. Click Add
	8. Sort By: Select System Notes : Set By
	9. Click Available Filters
	10. Filter:
		• Select Internal ID
			1. Show in Filter Region: Enter Checkmark
			2. Click Add
	11. Click Save

B. Create the Custom Field
	1. Navigate to Customization > Lists, Records & Fields > CRM Fields > New
	2. Label: Enter Created By
	3. Type: Select Free-Form Text
	4. Store Value: Remove Checkmark
	5. Click Applies To
	6. Case: Enter Checkmark
	7. Click Display
	8. Display: Select Main
	9. Click Validation & Defaulting
	10. Search: Select Created By Case
	11. Click Save
