- Create Credit Memo for the Open Invoices
- Open the Invoice
- Click the Credit button
- Review the mandatory fields and Posting Period
- Click Save
- Update Revenue Arrangement for the Credit Memos
- Go to Transactions > Financial > Update Revenue Arrangements and Revenue Plans
- Click the Update Revenue Arrangements button
- Click Refresh until 100% Complete
- View the Revenue Plans
- Open the Credit Memo from step 1 > Related Records tab
- Click open the Revenue Arrangement
- Click the Update Revenue Plans button
- Go to the Revenue Arrangement Message tab > Error: An error occurred while trying to retrieve the start and end dates for the revenue plan
- Edit the Revenue Arrangement and assign a Start Date and End Date > Save
- Click again the Update Revenue Plans button until the View Revenue Plans button appear
- Click the View Revenue Plans button
- Click the Revenue Plan Number
- Create Journal Entry to Recognize the Revenue
- Go to Transactions > Financial > Schedule Revenue Recognition Journal Entries > Run Now
- Set the Appropriate Posting Period and Journal Entry Date
- Mark the Select Individual Schedules box
- In the Customer field, enter Customer
- Select and mark the boxes for the appropriate Plan Number
- Click Create Journal Entries button
