Inline editing is possible for the saved search results in NetSuite.
The points to be noted are given below:
- The display type of the custom field need to be taken into consideration

- NetSuite supports only inline editing for save searches with only one transaction type. If user has 2 or more types selected, NetSuite will not allow user to do Inline Editing.
Below are some of the reasons why Inline Edit function is not available in a Saved Search:
- The Saved Search results have a set Summary Type. Only Saved Searches with results not having Summary Types have the Inline Edit option.
- Under the Results tab of the Saved Search, Run Unrestricted checkbox is marked.
