Scenario
The user noted some Item fulfillment that does not post any value in the GL impact.
Solution
Item Fulfillment may not post value in the GL impact due to the following reasons:
1. The item shipped is a Non-inventory Item
2. Item Fulfillment was created from a Dropshipment order
3. Inventory item was sold underwater or has a negative inventory at the time of fulfillment
To determine if there is enough stock at the time the Item Fulfillment was created, users may run an Inventory Valuation report so they can see the movement of the Item and determine how it arrived at the current on-hand quantity:
1. Navigate to Reports > Inventory/Items > Inventory Valuation
2. Filter it by specific Location if the user is using the Multi-Location feature by clicking on the More button at the footer
3. Hit Refresh
4. Look for the Item included in the Item Fulfillment and drill down to it by clicking the Qty On Hand.
