Requirement
NPBC would like to implement customizations in packing slip PDF for the new subsidiary. The NPBC has shared the packing slip as a reference for the fields to be required in the PDF.
Our Solution
The Customized PDF will be used for the KC Subsidiary. If the Subsidiary selected is “KC ” the button will appear on the transaction record in view mode.
- Change the PDF Title to “Picking & Packing slip”.
- Change the logo for KC subsidiary
- Attach address of the subsidiary according to which mentioned in the KC Subsidiary record.
- Fetch all the details like ABN, EMAIL, Phone number etc as per the KC Subsidiary.
- Change the item table settings as per the reference
- Make alignments proper for making UI more attractive
- Layout will be portrait view
- The Bin Location number will be added for each item in the item table.
Button Customization
We will be implementing a custom button “Print KC Packing Slip” in the invoice record. When the user clicks on the button, the packing slip will be printed irrespective of the forms. The PDF will be rendered using the script.
Assumptions
- The packing slip will be used only for KC subsidiary.
- The Custom button needs to appear in the records which is having subsidiary “Kwikclamps”.
- The button will appear in view mode only
