Proposal Summary
Alogic would like to sync their Shopify website to NetSuite using Celigo. Currently Alogic have 7
Shopify stores specifically in AU,NZ, UK,IN,USA, UAE and CA. Out of which the stores AU, UK, IN,USA,
and CA are currently active and are to be synced to NetSuite.
Requirement
The requirement is to integrate Shopify with NetSuite using prebuilt Shopify – NetSuite Integration
App by Celigo.
Deliverables
Prerequisites
• NetSuite account with administrator permissions.
• Access to integrator.io
• Access to Shopify.
• Shopify-NetSuite Integration App.
Description of the task
The requirement can be achieved by configuring the Shopify – NetSuite Integration App in
integrator.io. The Integration App provides automated data flows. When data in the source system is
updated or new data is added, the corresponding records in the target system are also modified or
updated.
The Integration flows available in Shopify – NetSuite Integration App are listed below.
- Sync NetSuite Items as Shopify products
• Integration App supports the sync of following items: Inventory, Assembly, Kit Items, Matrix
Item (Parent and Child Items) from NetSuite to Shopify.
• Please note that Kit items will be synced as Simple Products in Shopify.
• Supports sync of Item Images from NetSuite as Product Images on Shopify (up to 250 images)
• Enables to map NetSuite standard/custom fields to Shopify meta fields. Support for exporting
up to 250metafields. - Sync orders and customers from Shopify to NetSuite
• The Integration support the sync of Shopify Order to NetSuite as Sales order.
• Also, all the Orders can be created under a default customer, hence the sync of individual
customer can be excluded.
• The integration allows to sync the taxes from Shopify Order to NetSuite Sales Order. There is
an option to overwrite the NetSuite taxes with Shopify tax amounts. Tax Overwrite allows
Shopify Tax to Overwrite NetSuite Tax.
• As per the available Celigo documentation Canadian taxes-GST,HST,PST are not supported.
• If there is a difference between the tax values calculated by NetSuite and the values sent from
Shopify, the difference is stored in the ETAIL TAX TOTAL VARIANCE custom field on the sales
order. - Sync Order refunds between Shopify and NetSuite.
• The flow syncs refund order data from NetSuite to Shopify and vice versa.
• It creates credit memos from invoices and cash refunds from cash sales present in NetSuite. - Sync cancellations between Shopify and NetSuite (bidirectional)
• Integration App allows you to sync order cancellations from NetSuite to Shopify and viceversa.
• Please note that for the cancellation flows, the Integration App can only sync fully cancelled
orders and cannot sync partial cancellations due to Shopify’s Order API limitations. - Sync item fulfilments from NetSuite to Shopify
• Supports syncing the NetSuite Item fulfilment information including the tracking numbers,
shipping method, etc. to the corresponding Shopify Order.
• Please note that the integration app only supports creating new fulfilments in Shopify.
Updating an existing fulfilment in Shopify from NetSuite is not supported.
• The fulfilment for multiple locations in a single flow run is not supported.
• Syncing multiple tracking numbers is not supported due to Shopify REST API limitations. - Sync NetSuite Item inventory to Shopify
• The Inventory Export flow exports an item’s “Quantity Available” from NetSuite to the
corresponding item in Shopify on a batch basis.
• There exists separate flow to sync Kit inventory from NetSuite to Shopify.
Assumptions
• Only the stores AU, UK, IN, USA, and CA are considered in this scope.
• The “Premium” edition of the Shopify-NetSuite Integration app will be purchased.
