Resolve Error: “An unexpected error has occurred.” on Manage Roles Page

Scenario

All users are encountering an error when navigating to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles.

Solution

Create a new Role Saved Search

1. Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches > New
2. Click Role
3. Search Title: Enter Name
4. Click Save

Get the Role Search ID

1. Navigate to Lists > Search > Saved Searches
2. Click Filters
3. Type: Select Role
4. Quick Sort: Select Newly Created
5. Roles Saved Search: Click View
6. URL: Copy searchid=xxxxNote: Replace xxxx with the actual id of the search.

Force the list to use the search as its View

1. Navigate to Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles
2. URL: Enter &searchid=xxxx at the end
   Note: It should look similar to https://accountid.app.netsuite.com/app/setup/rolelist.nl?whence=&searchid=12345
3. Press Enter
