Resolve Error: “Credit Card Number Is Not Valid. Please Check That All Digits Were Entered Correctly.” When Accepting Customer Payment in Test Mode

Scenario
User tests the Credit Card Payment Processing functionality when creating Customer Payment via Transactions Customers Accept Customer Payments. It results in error: “Credit card number is not valid. Please check that all digits were entered correctly.”

Prerequisites:

  1. Navigate to Setup Accounting Payment Processing Profiles
  2. Click Edit by Payment Processing Profile
  3. Test Mode: Enter Checkmark
Solution
Credit Card numbers used under Test Mode cannot be real Credit Cards.

Make sure that the Credit Card number and other Card details used in Payment transaction are not a real Card details. Use test Card data searchable via Google.
