The Disclaimer cannot be edited in the invoice basic transaction layout.

User takes the print of an invoice using the basic transaction layout. But there is no disclaimer is specified at the invoice form setup. But the print shows a disclaimer and the user can not edit it.

Solution – When the ‘Print remittance form with invoices and statements’ preference is enabled (Setup -> company -> Preferences -> Printing & Fax), a remittance form can be selected in the invoice form setup.

And if there is any disclaimer has specified in the remittance form setup, then that disclaimer will be showed in the invoice print.

The Disclaimer field applies to Basic Printing only. To use this field, you must select an existing layout form that uses a disclaimer. You cannot customize a form to include the Disclaimer field.

Enter a disclaimer or other message to appear at the bottom of your custom form. You can enter up to 4,000 characters, including spaces, for this message.
