Have you ever came across a situation like, When a sales order is created for an item with available quantity and on saving the sales order record, the quantity will not get committed instead the ordered quantity will get back-ordered?
Solution :
Please recheck the below points to resolve this issue.
- Please check whether the commitment preference is not selected at the line level.
- Check whether the make inventory checkbox is checked in the location record.
- Check if the line level location is selected in the transaction record.
- The commitment preference will be hidden only when the Supply allocation feature is enabled in the account.
