Changes are not reflecting when Creating or Editing a Workflow State Name.
Solution
An account’s current language preference is one of the reasons why the changes in Workflow State Names are not reflecting when created/edited. Ensure to double check the account’s user’s language preference to avoid this issue:
By clearing out the Translation fields in the Workflow State’s setup
- Navigate to Customization > Workflow > Workflows
- Click Edit
- Double-click the Workflow State box
- Workflow State setup: Click Translation subtab
- Clear out the values in the Language field
- Click Save
By changing the user’s language preference
- Center tab: Hover on the Home icon
- Click Set Preferences
- Click General subtab
- Localization:
- Language: Select the company’s default account language
Example: English (International) - Click Save
Note: Once Saved, changes should now reflect upon editing desired workflow
- Language: Select the company’s default account language
